I've searched a fair bit but I just can't get the gallery going - it just doesn't show.

The page I'm trying to set up is 174.132.149.194/~iknow/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=76:battersea-sw11-guide&catid=38:the-cms&Itemid=59 (ugly URL. I'm in the process of migrating). If you view the page source it seems to pick up the gallery tag but does not produce the images.

The temp folder exists with 755 permissions. I'm assuming this is where the thumbnails go but none are created (the folder is empty).

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the component; tried a different template, different folder settings, etc.

I did some more digging and it turns out that all the filenames have to be in lowercase. So I changed that and now it's working.

Just a little feedback  :) ...

I'm migrating a site and need this component to set up my articles the way they were before. I am migrating over a hundred images so now I have to rename them all.

I've found a batch tool to do this so it's not a big deal but it took me half a day searching the forums and code to find the problem and it's taken me another half day to find a batch tool and make the changes. A day spent messing around which could have been prevented by a) one or two strtolower calls in your code or b) outlining the lowercase requirement in your documentation.

I am having the same problem.

temp file has write permissions.

I set up a test page here www.stbartholomews.surrey.sch.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=195&Itemid=77 but nothing is showing

my jpg file names arein lower case.

Any ideas please?

Hmmm, The js of the sig pro are loaded on the HEAD section of the page
but I can't find the gallery code inside the item content!
Have you inserted the {gallery}folder{/gallery} code in the item?

Hmmm, have you changed the default root path of the galleries, at the params page of the sigpro plugin?
If no, can you please PM me an account to the administrator panel to play a bit with the params?
