Good day all,

On Joomla 1.5.8 ...

Run into the issue referenced within the Troubleshooting text .. "Could be that GDLibrary is not installed..."

Images display as red X's in IE 6, 7, 8 and as small square icons in FF. Once clicked, everything functions (images come up .. next & previous work OK). URL is www.firefightersface.com/fff/)

My question is this.... Is the GDLib required JUST for the thumbnails?? I was wondering since the other images are displaying O.K.

I have asked my host to install the GD Library file. I attempted to install myself (through cPanel) with no success.

As suggested in the troubleshooting, I also set 755 and 777 permissions on the sigpro_engine.php file (tested with both permissions) with no luck.

So, it's gotta be the GDLib issue, correct?

I spoke with the hosting company. They said that their servers support GD Image Library.

That points me back to the application to look for problems.

Still showing the RED X's in IE at the moment.

D'oh! ... Found the problem.

There was an existing install of Simple Image Gallery (not PRO version) that someone had installed as part of the Joomla plugins.

Once I disabled that version, everything began functioning properly within the site. All thumbnails now show up properly and the LiteBox works flawlessly.

Silly error ... but might help someone else with the same problem in the future.
