Simple Image Gallery Pro set-up question was created by Ibrahim Dabo
Hi All,
I am trying to have the Simple Image Gallery Pro... I already installed the plugin for Joomla! 1.5.x. I would like to have a gallery that when one clicks the photo, it opens up in a pop-up window. I'm not familiar with Joomla... but this is what I have so far. www.ibdabo.com/photos/ Can someone help me with directions how to set it up or how to do ftp if necessary? Thanks.

Have you enabled the plugin and put the gallery inside an article? If not, go enable the plugin and then go to an article (either existing or create a new one) and write
{gallery}the image folder you want{/gallery}
Then go visit that page (if a new article you will have to create a menu item linked to that article) and see if you see correctly the thumbs and the popup.
If everything works ok go and check the parameters of the plugin in what you want for the thumbnails and the popup.

Thank you so much. I still seem to be missing something... I have enabled the plugin but how do I go about putting gallery in article. The only thing I would like is to have a gallery page like this one for example: www.ameliawhaley.com/home/Still-Life.html I already have my web site set up and need SIG Pro for my photos to that it can be opened in a pop-up box.... please advice... and sorry I am very new to all this, so please excuse my ignorance if i'm missing a very simple point here...

Step 3.
Go to the site and click on the menu item you created. Do you see your gallery?

There is another solution. PM me access to your administration and I will make one for you. Then all you have to do is to see what I have done and simply do the same. :)
