Problem with Thumnail was created by timoley

i am able to load the tumbnail into the content
but it doesn't show my thumbnail
but i am able to click it and view the picture

You're probably dealing with file permission issues. If the default temporary folder for the thumbs is e.g. images/stories/temp then make sure it writable (755 or 777) and all files in it. ;)

Hi there!

You can do it from your FTP Manager
If you don't have something like that, you can install joomlaxplorer component, browse to the specific folder and change the permissions!

sorry... but how do i get into the folder and change it..
is there a menu for it to type in the 755 or 777? or?

i've managed to change with "Apply to existing files" checked
but it still doesn't show the thumbnail
