Hi,

I have photo gallery with about 40 pictures. So it takes time to generate thumbnails. But when they are cached everything works fine. I'm wondering if there is a limit on Thumbnail Cache Expiration Time configuration parameter. I would like to keep it as high as possible (preferably it should never expire).

Have you looked at the options of the plugin?!

Administrator->mambots->site mambots->SIG PRO

Take a look if there are the option you looking for!

Yes, there is the option Thumbnail Cache which allows to set expiration time in minutes. I'm not sure how high the value could be though.

Cache means that every e.g. 120 minutes the directory is rescanned. You need that, otherwise, if you add/remove images, they will not be reflected properly on the fronted of your website. ;)

120 minutes is OK. Either way, it takes only 1 user to make a new -unseen- gallery cached. ;)
