the ability to display images from a feed seems not to work in an atom feed where the image is defined as <media:thumbnail...> The feed that I am using can be found at feeds.bbci.co.uk/news/scotland/rss.xml?edition=uk - it is part of the BBC feed.

Does this mean that the feed reader cannot read the images in atom feeds, or that I have to make some changes to a template?

Hi. Unfortunately the module only supports inline images found in the description field.
