I have a Joomla 1.5.8 install and have just installed the RSS reader.  My site goes down completely and is replaced with a message:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in E:\domains\c\cynffig.org\user\htdocs\modules\mod_jw_srfr\mod_jw_srfr\simplepie.inc on line 6549

I have installed it on a 1.5.7 install and it displays, but still with errors:

Notice: Undefined variable: feed in E:\domains\c\cynffig.org\user\htdocs\testsite\modules\mod_jw_srfr\mod_jw_srfr.php on line 153

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in E:\domains\c\cynffig.org\user\htdocs\testsite\modules\mod_jw_srfr\mod_jw_srfr.php on line 153

Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem ever since I upgraded to PHP5.
