In some publications (example : medium.com/@ali.dev/how-to-fix-target-blank-a-security-and-performance-issue-in-web-pages-2118eba1ce2f ) I read, that links with target = "_ blank" represent a security and performance risk. Remedy is the extension of the URI by rel = "noopener noreferrer". Unfortunately, I'm not a programmer and so I do not know how I can do it.
Perhaps in the advanced settings should be an option that allow the extension of the URI by such or similar parameters.
If this is not possible or desired I would be happy if someone could explain to me how I can do that by overriding the original function.
The complete URI should be like the following example: <a href=” sedeo.net ” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener noreferrer”>Go to sedeo
By the way off topic: Preview of this forum does not work in my Chrome-Browser

You can easily create a template override for SRFR and in there modify the HTML for the link of each feed entry to use any attribute you like. Instructions can be found in the "Styling" section here: www.joomlaworks.net/extensions/free/simple-rss-feed-reader

What do you mean by "preview" in regards to the forum?

Thanks for your quick reply. Hope I will be able to do an override. Never did it and it seems complicated. What about my idea to add this option to extended settings of Simple RSS Feed Reader as it seems to be an important issue. Check at Google for securing target="_blank" links.

I refer to the button "Preview" beside "Write" in the second line off the message editor. I get only a blank field when I push it. No preview at all.

I've noted down to add rel=”noopener noreferrer” in the coming update as an option in the module parameters.
