In some publications (example : medium.com/@ali.dev/how-to-fix-target-blank-a-security-and-performance-issue-in-web-pages-2118eba1ce2f) I read, that links with target = "_ blank" represent a security and performance risk. Remedy is the extension of the URI by rel = "noopener noreferrer". Unfortunately, I'm not a programmer and so I do not know how I can do it.
Perhaps in the advanced settings should be an option that allow the extension of the URI by such or similar parameters.
If this is not possible or desired I would be happy if someone could explain to me how I can do that by overriding the original function.
The complete URI should be like the following example: <a href=”sedeo.net” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener noreferrer”>Go to sedeo

Thanks for your quick reply. Hope I will be able to do an override. Never did it and it seems complicated. What about my idea to add this option to extended settings of Simple RSS Feed Reader as it seems to be an important issue. Check at Google for securing target="_blank" links.
