Why does simplepie do this?
In order for simplepie to work I have to delete the cache files everytime.

What does this? and How to fix it?

I have given full permissions to the correct users, made the folder and files writable, still the same problem...

I've disabled Joomla cache in hopes that it was the problem,
even thought it was already disabled?

Seems to be working now.
Removed the entire cache folder, recreated the cache folder all issues gone.

i had the same problem... what i dis is to change the version of php, from 5 to 4. it works, but some things don't work in php4. do you have another solution?

Theres a cache option in the file, set it to false or 0.
