my idea:rss-feeds: doing a rework for usage in slick-rss/simple-rss

on the way to create some feeds i have a question:  how can i rework some rss-links so that i can use it as URLs that i can enter in the news feed-application for joomla!

bbs.archlinux.org/announce_rss.php?feed=rss2


i want to use those sources for displaying in joomla - in a newsfeed- or rss-feed reader
such as

a.  simple-rss
b. slick - rss
