I have the same problem but I cannot use the dev version because of the Gavick modules.
My question is, can I add the time manually in the field?

Thanks,
skullmonkey

This worked perfectly in my project also, thank you very much! All my customizations were in the template overrides folder so nothing was lost.

The K2 back end (Administrator) has changed though, and some settings for item/category seem to display slightly broken. Is this the case because 2.7.0 is not yet a production version?

It could be a browser compatibility issue.
Also some aspects of the UI have not been perfected yet.

Everything is completely usable no PHP error or such if you are worried about this.

Wow, super-fast reply!

I am using the latest version of Firefox. I'm guessing this is UI stuff that will be sorted out with the production release of v.2.7. I have not detected any functionality problems, this concerns only admin layout issues.

Any ideas on when to expect 2.7's release?

At this moment I cannot say anything without a risk.

A friendly tip. Use Chrome.

Quick question about updating this "unofficial" version of K2 2.7 to the production version just released.
Do I just install the "official" version over the already installed "unofficial" version?

This is most likely related to a missing laguage string from your language pack.
You need to contact the template developer and ask him which language strings are being used.
