My question is, can I add the time manually in the field?
Thanks,

The K2 back end (Administrator) has changed though, and some settings for item/category seem to display slightly broken. Is this the case because 2.7.0 is not yet a production version?

Also some aspects of the UI have not been perfected yet.
Everything is completely usable no PHP error or such if you are worried about this.

I am using the latest version of Firefox. I'm guessing this is UI stuff that will be sorted out with the production release of v.2.7. I have not detected any functionality problems, this concerns only admin layout issues.
Any ideas on when to expect 2.7's release?

Try to download the file again from getk2.org/assets/get and install it. .
getk2.org/assets/get dont work. Is this on purpose?
Thanks,
Gorast

Do I just install the "official" version over the already installed "unofficial" version?

You need to contact the template developer and ask him which language strings are being used.
