It is most likely related to a permissions issue.
Right permissions on all joomla sites are:
755 for folders
644 for files
You can use chmod or an extension like Admin Tools to correct them.

I have checked the rights - everything correct. I have tried it also with changing the rights for K2 to 777. It doesn't work.
All other extension updates works only K2, that don't like the update from 2.6.9 to 2.7.0 :(
Perhabs you have one more indication concering my problem...
Regards,
Melanie

Can you clear your site's /tmp folder and try again?

- Check that you have setup the correct paths at the configuration settings of your Joomla installation.
- If you have FTP Settings to Yes check that your login credentials are correct.
- Beside the update issue do have the same behaviour when you upload files or installing other extensions ?

No. 1: check within the configuration it is correct
No. 2: FTP Settings are not activated
No. 3: No, there are no problems with uploading files or installing other extensions. Only K2. That don't want.

I don't know what you mean exactly - perhaps: German (Germany) language pack for K2 from getk2.org
This extension we use to your K2 extension.

Have you looked at your error_log for any PHP errors?

I have tried it already to install complete new, that works. Deinstall old version and upload new one.
But then my complete work is distroyed and therefore I want to find a solution which saves all data and adjustment.

getk2.org/downloads/?f=K2_v2.6.9.zip
Can you reinstall 2.6.9 and then try updating?
PS. Backup first.

I don't understand why... It's crazy... Do you have any more idea? I become desperate...

Have you contacted your hosting provider about any potential issues on your setup?

Is there any solution so far? Would it be possible just to overwrite the files via FTP with version 2.7.0 or would it be a bad idea?
Thanks in advance!

I would suggest the following:
a) Refer this issue to your hosting provider, in case there is a setup issue
b) If you plan to use FTP, backup (I cannot stress this enough) and try this method in a local environment first because it might lead to unexpected results.
