It takes 5 days to get an response by my profider with no result. I have restarted my server and this doesn't works too.
I am a little bit confused - apparently it change some files, but not all of them...
The K2 Update has overwritten the following documents with version 2.7. but I will get the same warning as before

But it shows no Version 2.7 within joomla backend

Is it possilbe to change the K2 manually within all folders. Perhabs this works?

I just could solve the problem by changing the ownership of the complete k2-file directory (omponents/com_k2) to the "php-user". via admin-panel of my hoster ("Change directory owner"). Maybe it works also for you, Melanie ...

Unless you know what you are doing, this can 'lock' your files. Proceed with caution since this can cause permission issues.

Sorry if I ask a bit unknowing- what do you mean with "php-user" "directory-owner"?
Change all rights to 777?

Each folder belongs to a user and a group, if the owner of the folder is different than the owner who is trying to write the files ,eg: default's apache user is www-data while Joomla! might use a different user, a permission issue can occur.

Setting your permissions to 777 is not recommended and can lead to potential security issues.

No, it's not within the database, it is on the server. I can change it in the admin-panel of the webspace from my hoster (allinkl).
If you have further questions you can write me in German, I guess you are from Germany ... an d I am too ;-)

@krikor: I have still the same problem. Now to update K2 to 2.7.1. with the same bug. Do you have an instruction for me to update K2 manually without losing my data?

The manual procedure would be to download the latest version and replace the files on your webserver through your FTP client AFTER you have backed up.

Once again these permission issues should be investigated by your hosting provider.
