Hello from Germany, excusing my bad english
I have a similar problem. When I enter something in the K2 comment field and send it, it looks like nothing is happening. But the comment is saved. The user receives no message and believes his comment was not sent. The site is still in trial mode and does not have a domain yet.

There is a JS error occurring: jmp.sh/K87coCY

Would it be possible to use a newer version of jQuery? You seem to have v1.8 enabled, probably through some 3rd party plugin. If so, can you switch that off so Joomla uses it's own copy of jQuery (which is newer if you're using Joomla 3.8.x)?
