Can I hijack this thread and say that I am also getting the same issue, using 2.6.8 (dev), and Joomla 3.2.1.

It happens on the administrator side, and happens every time I try to save a content item. Obviously, refreshing the item just tries to resubmit the form (save the item edit). However, if I just go to the default administrator home page, the item has saved and there's no other problems.

I installed the 2.6.8 dev version, as I'd foolishly installed J3.2.1 without reading that there was a compatibility issue with K2 2.6.7.

I think it must be a K2 issue, as the rest of the Joomla site works fine.

It's a virgin install, not an upgrade.

Hopefully there is a solution as it's a client site, and it's due to be handed over at the end of the week! ;-o

Please upgrade to K2 SVN version 2.6.8 from here: getk2.org/assets/get/ which is compatible with Joomla! 3.2.1.
If the issue persists enable the error reporting from your global configuration and let us know of the error you get when the blank screen appears upon save.

Since you have used K2 for your gallery pages, you won't be facing any issues upon upgrade. But to be sure, which version of K2 are you currently using?
For Joomla! I presume 1.5 since you are asking for upgrade on 2.5 or 3, right?

Hello,

You can always export the k2 tables from the database and add them to the new one after you have successfully installed K2.

Why don't you make the upgrade through the Joomla! updater? That way you won't have to move K2 at all.

The problem was actually in the en-GB.com_k2.ini

The lines

K2_DATE_FORMAT="%d/%m/%Y - %H:%M"
K2_DATE_FORMAT_LC2="%A, %d %B %Y %H:%M"
K2_DATE_FORMAT_LC="%A, %d %B %Y"

needed to be reformatted with a correct date format definition; for example something like

K2_DATE_FORMAT="d/m/Y - H:i"
K2_DATE_FORMAT_LC2="l, d F Y H:i"
K2_DATE_FORMAT_LC="l, d F Y"

did the trick.

I'm checking the file en-GB relative to the component K2 in MYWEBSITE\public_html\administrator\language\en-GB and I'm actually finding more than one defining the variable "K2_DATE_FORMAT_LC2".

I'm attaching them here to this post. Do you recognise the definition of any of these variable could be the cause of this strange behaviour?

Both please upgrade your K2 version to DEV 2.6.8 from getk2.org/assets/get/ which is compatible with Joomla! 3.2

If you are using Joomla! 3.2 version you need to upgrade to K2 2.6.8 dev version through getk2.org/assets/get/

I've similar problem with:when I try to administrator/index.php?option=com_k2.
K2 was installed after Joomla STS upgrade from Joomla 2.5.17 to Joomla 3.2.1.
PHP 5.3.8

I'm having the same issue and getting the error after upgrading. I have J3.2 and latest version of K2. I am using the K2 Dynamap however it was upgraded to work with J3.x

I'm also having a lot of other error messages and problems like:
looking at MySQL and I see a lot of queries that are taking a long time (this one took 7 seconds) similar to:

've tried to upgrade k2 at the latest versione but, unfortunately, it does not work .
I've attached the screenshot of my upgrade.
It appears there are no possible solution for a url like sitename/maincategory/aliasitem.
It's a shame cause that structures it's so useful for google news.
Got any ideas?

Are you sure the definition for the "K2_DATE_FORMAT_LC2" string is correct?
You can try using a language override for this. Eg something like d M Y.

After upgrading K2 to version 2.6.7 I started having problem with the displaying of posted date on my Blog's articles.

The dates are not displayed correctly and a strange code appear instead.

I've activated the advaced integration k2sh404sef but i can't to this (it does not work).
I need this custom url cause i'm migrating a site with 2000 item (j 1.5 without k2) and i need to avoid 2000 404 error and manually redirect.

On my site here is a K2 article with a reCaptcha comment. I have in both spots, Joomla and K2, changed the theme to "red.' As can be seen on my site it is not displaying and I just upgraded to K2 2.6.7. Meanwhile on Google's page the red theme looks like this like this .
