Hi
I've translated the language files for the frontend into German. How can I implement them without changing/rename the English files...?

I've tried to expand the manifest.xml
<languages folder="language/en-GB">
<language tag="en-GB">en-GB.com_socialconnect.ini</language>
<language tag="en-GB">en-GB.mod_socialconnect_twitter.ini</language>
<language tag="en-GB">en-GB.mod_socialconnect.ini</language>
</languages>
<languages folder="language/de-DE">
<language tag="de-DE">de-DE.com_socialconnect.ini</language>
<language tag="de-DE">de-DE.mod_socialconnect_twitter.ini</language>
<language tag="de-DE">de-DE.mod_socialconnect.ini</language>
</languages>

But I'm thinking there is something missing. The installation run without an error. What Do I have to change again?

ok in socialconnect.xml I've added the same...
Insallation runs. no Error but no German in the frontend.....

All you need to do is just upload the translations to the related folders in Joomla (I assume /language/de-DE/ in your case). There is no need to re-pack SocialConnect for that.
