How do I add the category description and the category image(s) to the tag.php file in the template folder?

Hi all i have a problem with the rss that are produced from my k2 articles, the image url or image link is appearing inside the description tag in the rss source but i want it to appear in separate tag out side the description for example INSTEAD OF THIS CODE(RSS SOURCE)

 Hi Guys,
 
 sorry for a bad english, but i need help.
 
 So i start as a completly beginner with a internet-site 6 mth ago with joomla 1.5. and some weeks later with k2. I made many faults and tried a lot, Now my site is in my Beginner eyes ok, but i have a problem with my tags page and articles / author page.
 
 I have 1180 Articles and in k2 Options 10/site so 118 blogsites with 10 articles or for example the tag " Format Tresore" 160 articles 10/site so 16 tagssites. So far so good.
 When i want to click from 1 to 2 to 3 and so on, it shows the first site, the 2nd is Page 1 thats ok, then i click 3 and pagination wents to 4, 5 is Page3, 6 is page 3 and sometimes it jumped or stops. Thats in view / autor oder view tags

 I tried before Update to 2.54 no effect, Reinstall 2.41 no effect. i updated on a testserver to joomla 2.51 and k2 2.54 same template rt_quasar and it works, but i cant update the Mainsite now.
 
 Maybe someone can help me, or give me tips where i can look for, what file . THANK YOU!!

Hallo,

ich versuche es erstmal in Deutsch.

vor rund 6 Monaten habe ich mit Joomla 1.5 angefangen und k2 ( V 2.41) kurze Zeit später eingebaut. Als totaler Anfänger im Aufbau von einer Internetseite habe ich sicher viele Fehler gemacht und auch viel ausprobiert ( oder zerschossen B) . ) Nun denke ich, habe ich die Sache soweit größtenteils im Griff, aber meine Seite weist einen groben Fehler auf.

Wenn ich Artikel des Autors ( immer Admin) oder auch wenn ich Artikel per Tags anzeigen lasse, kommt anfangs die in den K2 Optionen eingestellte Anzahl der Artikel/Seite ( bei Autor ( User = 10, bei Tags =10) Nun habe ich beim Autor rund 1180 Artikel Seiten also 118 Usersites und z.B. beim Tag " Format Tresore" 160 Artikel also 16 Tags Seiten. Dies wird auch alles in der Pagination unten alles richtig angezeigt. Soweit so gut.

Nun der Fehler: Wenn ich nun Seite für Seite durchblättern will geht meist noch die 1, die 2. dann springt das ganze auf 4 oder 5, dann 6 geht gar nicht, wieder auf 7 dann auf 10 und dann maximal noch ans Ende. Ich kann also weder bei Autor noch bei Tags von 1 bis X in der Reihenfolge durchklicken und bekomme auch von Google WMT oder auch SH404 entsprechende 404 Fehler.

Derzeit arbeite ich noch mit J1.5.23 und K2 2.41.

Folgendes habe ich schon versucht. k2 upgedated auf 2.54 ( ohne Erfolg) k2 2.41 neu installiert. Anzahl der Seiten von 10 auf eine andere Anzahl verändert.

In einer Testumgebung Update auf J.2.5 und K2 2. funktioniert es übrigens. Aber ich scheue mich noch vor dem Update meiner Hauptseite, weil das Update auf die Testseite auch sehr aufwändig war. Möglicherweise ist es ja nur eine Datei an der ich vor Monaten schon gefummelt habe, wie item.php, category.php generic.ph und was noch alles.

Adrian,
Please post the information here I am extremely interested in getting something that works well. While it may appear on the surface there is not a lot of outcry for this feature, believe me, there is :)

If K2 could offer it natively, they would have an immense advantage.

Hallo zusammen,

meine RSS-Feeds funktionieren komischerweise nicht mehr.

Ich habe vor 2-3 Tagen noch Beiträge auf meiner Seite via K2 erstellt. Alles ohne Probleme. Die RSS-Feeds habe ich dann automatisch mit RSS-Grafitti in Facebook übernommen. das hatte ich vor Tagen schon so Configuriert und alles tat.

Heute nachdem ich einen neuen Artikel auf die Page gepackt habe habe ich in Facebook bemerkt das, dass RSS GRafitti keine Feeds ziehen kann da sie einfach nicht mehr auf meiner Webseite angezeigt werden wollen.

Ich kann es mir einfach nicht erklären und hoffe das mir hier jemand weiterhelfen kann.

Example:

the function enclousre is already found in -> libraries\joomla\document\feed\renderer\rss.php

Any suggestions with this important issue ?

Could any body tell me how to make the image that appears in the k2 article appear in separate image tag <image> in the k2 RSS not to be inside the <description> tag.

or how to view only the url of the image, i tried to make new feed in libraries/joomla/document/feed/renderer/rss.php i put inside it the following code:

 Hi,
 
 I've attached 2 screens - gallery.jpg shows what is being entered in my K2 article Image Gallery section.
 
 basic.jpg shows the config of the plugin.
 
 Full API as copied from the config page is - f0d6703b10c8ef2d10b529b59dd1a1f5 which matches Flickr
 
 I then tried to change my name so its a permalink.  This eliminates the issue of the @ sign which I thought was breaking things.  Changed the Flickr link to www.flickr.com/photos/barramya/6841896195/in/set-72157629232355959/.  As soon as I saved this I was presented with the error:
 
 There was a problem rendering your image gallery. Please make sure that the folder you are using in the Simple Image Gallery Pro plugin tags exists and contains valid image files. The plugin could not locate the folder:
 
 although it is trying to render from Flickr and not my local gallery.  If you surf to the page you also see this error on the page.

 This is not going to work like this.

 Hi,
 
 I'm not hard coding this in, I'm just putting it in as an link when editing via K2, under the Image Gallery tab.
 
 For the rest of my article, I was using the JCE editor - could/should this be the issue?
 
 I've tried switching to editor "none" and am now getting:
 
 "There was a problem rendering your image gallery. Please make sure that the folder you are using in the Simple Image Gallery Pro plugin tags exists and contains valid image files. The plugin could not locate the folder:"
 
 So I assume this is more permissions related regarding my cache folder - if you could confirm what this should be set to, so I can confirm this, that would be great.

 EDIT - Just to add I can also confirm that my cache folder and the jw_sigpro folder are set to 777 in terms of permissions, and safe mode is set to OFF for the site.  API from Flickr is set (checked it and checked it again to be sure).
